I hold my top plate down with velcro. Makes it a breeze to change the shift indicator bulb. My ash tray is never used so I used duct tape to hold everything together underneath....it worked:D

Here's my '67 Barracuda console. One for your year may have come with wood grain on top where mine is silver.

I did mine with a grinder and some bondo and a shot of paint.

My headliner guy would do the headliner for $350.00 or less. The $1500.00 quote may not be too far off. If you were close I would cover your seats for free.

Don't know of any trim piece. Mine just has the rubber overhang from the window gasket
