I agree....was the hardest thing I did on the Barracuda.
I worked 4 days on getting the alignment adjusting cam
bolts out. Solid rust. Lost 3 knuckles doing it. Tools slip...
I wear gloves now.
Yep, I feel your pain. You will enjoy it being done.
I used a C-body rear end and 11- 2-1/2" brakes. Moser cut the housing
down and made the axles for it set up for green bearings.
I just told them it was going into an A-body 1967 Barracuda
and they took care of everything.
I was in the same boat as you. I bought some used pieces knowing
there wasn't enough parts to make a complete swap. Wasn't sure what
was needed for a complete swap.
Sold the used stuff to Inkjunkie and bought the kit from Master Power brakes.
It was the right thing to do for me not being...
Converted mine using Master Power Brakes kit. Mine are manual brakes.
It's a bolt on.
Here's a link to the kit I have:

Hi Jim
I got my wheel cylinders from CarQuest for my 11" brakes.
Part no. was BRK EW75880 list price was $30.80 each....got them for
$18.48 each.
This was in Jan. 2007
Got mine from Master Power Brakes for the '67 'Cuda
I bought the manual set up and love it.
Came with everything needed. Upper control arms, spindles, dust
shields, rubber brake lines, calipers, and pads, etc.

Here's the lines going to my prop. valve on my '67
The pass. side line goes under the frame rail then up to the rubber brake line.
In fact both sides go under the frame rail. My lines came pre-bent so that
made it easy for me
I'm guessing you have 11" x 2-1/2" brakes and not 12". I'm not sure they made a 12" brake.
Local stores should have wheel cylinders and brake shoes. They may
have everything you need. If not Year One has
spring kits (BG536) and self adjusting kits (BG554 LH) & (BG555 RH)
Thanks 65s
based on the first ref. it looks like my calipers should mount on the
rear of the spindle for a 1967. Is this a good assumption on my part
or did I mis read it?
Thanks again
I'm in the process of installing the A-body disc brake
conversion from Master Power Brakes on my 1967
Barracuda. My 1967 service manual shows the stock
Kelsey-Hayes calipers mounted on the rear side of the spindle.
The conversion spindles have L and R cast on them. When I mount
the...
