I like to put the rear up on stands and mess with the cable until it works right. Agree on the cable pulling or pushing on the speedo. They are kinda touchy about that.

I didn’t want to change the original cluster too much, so I put new mechanical gauges in place of the OE. Then made a new speedo face and backlit them all with LED lighting. I made a separate pod up on the dash for tach, AF ratio and fuel.

BMW 3 series seats with a 1”x1” square tubing mount for each sides hills and valleys. The seat tracks themselves are made for totally flat floor. The 2 colors upholstery was custom order. 7 way adjustable, but no heat or electric control.

About anything will fit if you are able to make it. I have BMW 325i seats in my Dart. The 325i has a totally flat floor, and the Dart sooo doesn’t.:D

Yea, it’s supposed to be just a map light and not dome, but it might have been rewired. I could be wrong but I really doubt it. We have 72and73 Darts.

The door sill metal is plain old non galvanized steel. The switch was only for the floor light as far as I have ever seen. I have wired that switch to the dome light on a few that the headlight switch didn’t control the dome for whatever reason though.

It is common for the graphite button that contacts the horn ring to have dried up gunk on it and make a screeching sound. Try cleaning the ring and button, then a light lube. I use white lithium grease on those. (Just a thin film)

Any time new paint is put over old, cracking can be expected. Sometimes does it sometimes not. Take it down to metal and respray.

No way to get to some of them at all unless the entire regulator assy is removed. There are parts way back in there.
