LED headlights, rear lights, front parl lights and interior for 1964 plymouth Valiant

No kit, just GE Nighthawks with a relay for each beam of each bulb. This way if a relay fails it can’t kill both lights.

LED headlights, rear lights, front parl lights and interior for 1964 plymouth Valiant

As already mentioned go by Daniel Stern’s advice. He is literally the authority on vehicle lighting. My Dart is all LED save for the headlights and those are GE Nighthawks on relays. I’ve spent years testing and even building LED lighting for various uses and even my trunk interior light and...

    What is this?

That is an old school motion sensor alarm. It connects to the horn circuit. That little screw on top adjusts the sensitivity. Basically just an arm inside that is suspended by a spring, and when the car moves the contacts touch making the horn honk. They kinda sucked actually.:D

    Where does this spring go???

Those are way shorter than his spring. Never seen a “stock” spring like that on an auto trans car anywhere.

HOW TO ADJUST 65 DART AUTO SHIFT CABLES?

Not too long ago I saw a video on Youtube about that, so you might want to search that. It was very specific about how to adjust those.

How to thread new turn signal switch harness ?

I turn the connector on the end parallel to the wires and tape the connector to the end of a coat hanger wire, then feed it down through the column. I think you might find taping the wires up is a mistake, because the wires like to lay out flat going through and not in a bundle.

How do I remove defrost vent on dash?

Got em. A drywall screw lightly screwed into the top of them and needle nose pulled em out.

How do I remove defrost vent on dash?

Now you can laugh at my attempt to get these out with the carb still on the engine in the car.:D

How do I remove defrost vent on dash?

Sure it will, I did it that way with my own car.:D point the wrench straight at the nut and turn it one flat at a time instead of trying to get it on the nut like normal and turn it all the way around. Also, on a part you will never use again you can snap off the stud with the nut still on it...

How do I remove defrost vent on dash?

When all else seems to fail I have a 4 inch crescent wrench I use for things like that. Yea, it's a pain and takes patience but it works. On that broken vent I would start snapping it off in small pieces from the top side.

    904 or 727 in 66 barracuda

The A500 (42RH) is basically a 904 with an overdrive 4th, so it's a 4 speed 904. Some had a lockup converter which connects the engine directly to the trans mechanically. (feels like being in 4th or 5th in a 4 speed or 5 speed car.) so technically 5 different speeds. When in lockup the trans...

    Door Panel Liner

I use the cheapie thin moving blankets from Harbor Freight and cut it to the panel and then the plastic over that. It gives some noise and temperature insulation. Also, if you check behind any mattress outlet stores the plastic the mattresses get shipped in is pretty much perfect for panels and...

Auto Transmission Shifting Issue Since 4bbl Upgrade

Not to add another A hole's opinion to the discussion, buuuut,:D I added a light spring to the TP lever on the trans though the directions did not say to do so. The reason is that sometimes the lever does not come come fully forward, but only to the point the spring behind the TP valve in the...

Auto Transmission Shifting Issue Since 4bbl Upgrade

If it's late shifting into 3rd the TP may already be high enough for whatever reason to not destroy the trans. (it could be tied back or something like that) That's not to say it fine like it is though.

    Bushing trouble

If you are referring to the front bushings for the leaf springs it helps a lot to open the eye in the spring with a chisel that has a long taper to it.

    Horn switch

The grant installation kits come with all different stuff for the horn, so what exactly you mean by "switch" it probably won't be used with the new wheel anyway.
