    who makes this air cleaner?

I don't plat that hard...my "playing" would be lucky to have a K&N air filter and one of their filtered tops. All the bases and tops I have are swap meet finds, hand me downs or left over parts from previously dismantled vehicles. But it is interesting.

10% Ethanol will not start……no fire??

just looked it up, gasoline floats on water...makes sense if it absorbs moisture that the float bowls will have water in the bottom of them. wait till you hit the secondaries! maybe get the float bowls with the plugs for jet changes and drain them after every use.

“What I Learned Today” With Jeff Smith — Ethanol Isn’t The Bad Guy

I switched all the fuel lines on the small engines to fuel injection hose and this seems to last longer, not crack and flake off into the fuel bowels.

“What I Learned Today” With Jeff Smith — Ethanol Isn’t The Bad Guy

so would it be "healthier" to run E85? although I read where the exhaust from that reacts with your brain and you "feel" drunk. I know that is not worded correctly, but that is the jist of what I had read. and, yes, benzene is a carcinogenic.

    Secondary vacuum pods

are you talking the linkage from the diaphram? or do you have the units for dual quads---one port on each "pod'? they connect to each other. the vacuam to operate the actual secondaries comes from inside the carb. if none of the above, post a picture.

What main jets are these??? Holley 600

they are a close metering jet(?). A something in between but not quite the same as...oh,I can't explain it. I think they started coming out when the "emissions" carbs came on the scene. I'd look thru the Holley catalog/website/pdf for the precise answer.

    Is this a 161?

"Looks" like the carb that was on my 67 318 and 68 273, if that's any help. Are there numbers stamped on the base plate? maybe if there are those would identify it.

Running new flex lines on a 69 Barracuda (location?)

Welcome! I ran my lines next to the rocker and had no problems with punctures or crushing. It was not an everyday car but did see rainy weather. If you have frame connectors,I'd run it on the outside of them, holding the clamps on with little tabs welded to the connectors. Any pictures of your car?
