    watching. does the car run in second gear most of the time? it "seems" like the duration could be more because of the rpm range but the compression may need less duration. and that is why I am watching and learning. Thanks for letting me butt in. Bob SP or DP intake, 2 or 4-barrel carb?

    ran 13.18 at 108 with that cam,LD340,3310 Holley,1-3/4" headers,3.23 gear,4-speed and 7" x 27" cheater slicks. woulda been quicker with 25.5/26" slicks, but for $100, I used what I had. short block was stock rebuilt 68 340. oh, electronic ignition,solid wires and stock coil.

    get a fuel pressure gauge on the car if you don't have one already. mount an electric pump in the rear and get rid of the mechanical pump.

    my combo with 484 cam, 69 Dart,3.23 with 7"X27" slicks ran 13.18 @ 108 in third gear. stock 68 340 short block and oil pan,windage tray with hi-volume oil pump.
