    Sorry for the misinfo on the bellhousings. 72 and up AMC 6 and 8's share the same bolt pattern. and that is when Torqueflites started being used. wishful thinking they were the same.

    HEY! does the 4.0 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern as a Mopar? why not use a 5.2 bellhousing for your trans?

    not enough lowering but the SuperStock A-bodies had spacers between the k-frame and frame rail. I "think" the lower ball joints were bent to realign the linkage but still not enough for what you need. think spacers were 1/2' or so.

    4 digit number on choke tower tells you what it is. 1850 is 600 vac. second.,3310-... is 750 vac second. Google the numbers.

    5 quarts with filter change. Not sure on the oil...I'd stick with 10W30 or 10W40, but that's my opinion.

    there was an article years ago with a high compression Pontiac V8 that was built to work with all the emissions parts. I think they used the EGR valve but not sure to what end.
