tti small block headers? 2 days seems like a long time to me. if they are doing the exhaust too i can see two days but not just a header install. their directions are pretty good. just follow them and they should go quickly.

how ours ended up.. would have liked to trim them a bit more but the hanger was in the way and i didn't feel like screwing with them any more at the time. went with turn downs because i didn't think chrome tips went with the theme of the car.

fox bodys sound awesome with flowmasters. i never saw one factory equipped though. what year was that. the ones i had all had a Ford turbo style muffler. left and right were different lengths too. was supposed to eliminate drone they said.

i don't know.. i've seen non repaired ones for under that 700-800 dollar price that the repops are going for. just have to keep looking. they pop up quite often.

cheaper to find used ones.

i found tti headers much less a pain in the *** then the 68-71 340 manifolds i am currently running.

i never trust what a magazine prints. those numbers can be correct I don't know. what i do know is that magazines can and do make article results look however they want the outcome to look. who knows what or what they didnt do in that test.

those look like truck manifolds.. i'd like to see actual 68-71 340 manifolds.. i think it really depends on your combo and intended use, i will say 340 manifolds are getting harder and way more expensive to buy. sure you can find a deal sometimes and get into them on the cheaper side but...

these patriot headers are just the same old cheap header design. been around for ever. hooker, headman, flotech...etc...etc...etc are all made that way,,

headman, hooker, flowtech and all the other cheep headers are built the same where the steering linkage goes through the header and the header hangs low.. dougs an tti go over the linkage and do not hang low.. you also have the tri y's from schmacher that don't hang low.. not cheap though..

careful ya you listen to on that show. for a couple of mopar fans they spew quite a bit of mis-information about putting a mopar together. sometimes i find myself shaking my head with what is said on that show.
