Summit sells an entire kit. Comes with the tank, pump, sending unit and new tank straps for under 600 bucks. Or they used to when I bought mine. It's a tanks inc tank. The kit was cheaper then I could have gotten it all from tanks inc itself.

If going with a carb I just don't see it being worth it in my opinion. To me the reason to do the modern hemi swap is not only get the engine but also all the modern technology that goes with it.

if i were to do our dart over today it would no doubt have a modern hemi in it. i had most of the small block stuff laying around so thats the rout i went. in hind sight i should have just spent the money and went modern hemi.

thing that would worry me about that holley thing is if you are down to say a 1/4 tank of gas and that pick up coming uncovered ans it shuts the engine off. carb doesn't do it because of the reserve in the fuel bowls.

****. better off spending an extra $120 and getting a tanks inc kit from summit. comes with a tank, new straps, pump and sender.

i think its a good idea. i'd like to see less powerful cheaper versions too.. 9k is a bit steep for a rebut one in my opinion but thats mopars i guess... modern power plants are the way to go in the future if you ask me... biggest drawback is having to hack the **** out of a mopar to fit...

truck accessories are high and tight and car accessories are low and wide from what i remember.

..it means different thing to different power output. have a friend that class races and in the 10's. he needs every hundreth of a second from the car and it needs to withstand serious beating.. he has about $5500 onto his 904... for me i don't need anything like that for a street car...

**** a 904 all the way man.. little shift kit and some good parts in it. nothing expensive or exotic and that baby will be there for years and years.

keep the 904. no need for that boat anchor 727. what kind of power you putting out? 904 can handle quite a bit reliably with some cheap and simple mods along with quality parts and someone that knows what they are doing building it..

go with the hemi and be done. especially if you are using the EFI and all...

pretty slick brackets there. hard to screw up the placement with those... who's are they? .

no baffle. gonna give ya trouble around corners when low on gas... and man is that tank ugly inside.

looks like a pain in the *** to get the filter out.. rather have just a couple of clips to hold the lid on..

i think he wants the little wire ends for inside of the socket so he can rebuild the existing socket. a better way to do it in most cases in my opinion.

the amerian auto wire kit came with some.

plus its a lot neater looking when done too.. :)

just have to wire it correctly. i changed the actual plug but used the column ign switch when i did mine.
