All you can do is give it a try.

If you are going with 225/60/15 in front do it on a 15x7 rim with 4.25 or 4.5 backspacing. Or a 15x6 rim and try to get 4.25" backspacing. But I think many15x6's will be 4" backspacing.

You can also run a 68-70 B-body rear end and move the spring saddles in 1/2" on both sides. That would also get you a rear 1.5" wider on both sides. Much cheaper that large bolt A-body rears. Would be good idea since you are moving spring saddles at that point, to move the spring 1/2" more...

Are the rear fender lips rolled? On my 68, I got 245/50/15 on 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing with small bolt axles (re-drilled lbp) on stock 40 year 340 leaf springs. No lip rollig or trimming.

That's a 26.4" diameter tire. I think it's too tall. Search that size in the FABO search function and you might get some results of past experience I had those same 14x5.5 rallyes on my Barracuda when I got it. It had 235/60/14 (25.4" dia) and they were a close fit.

There seems to be a big difference in performance and quality between the tires offered in 15" sizes and those offered in 16-20" tire for modern cars.

I actually don't think any Mancini's work there? I'm not sure they are part of the ownership now. I'd guess it's whatever the NHRA max tire rule in that class for whatever particular year that picture was taken.

Please report how they fit with a picture of them turned inward where the corner of the tire is closest to the front lower fender lip.

if the 15x7 are 4.5” backspace you mentioned, you should have similar clearance as kerndog. The 15x6.5 rallye’s are factory rims on mid-late 70’s B-bodies. Never been reproduced.

IF the 15x7’s are really 4.5” backspace, the 225/60/15 is the safest choice. The 4.5” vs. 4.25” backspace flat out gives you .25” more clearance. Otherwise 235/60/15 is tempting on the 15x7 -4.5”. Does the 73 duster have a lower front fender support bar (usually attaches to hole on side bumper...

Those Crager 390C 15x7 have 3.5" backspace. A factory Mopar 15x7 rim is 4.25" backspace that will fit your brakes and suspension. So the Crager will push you tires out toward the fender lip 3/4"... that's not good. The most narrow 70 series 15" common tire I found was a 195/70/15 (7.7"...

I ran 225/50/15 P-Zero’s once… I agree. Looked way too small. Lowered the car too much. But I had cast exhaust manifolds then. Drive from LA to Iowa once on them. Revved too much.

I see this 225/50/15 street tire. Probably more grip than a 245/50/15 BFG. Maybe even more than a 265/50/15 BFG.
