Yes that is Doug Dutra’s car. Body lines match up just like any other early a body, since all doors and cowls are the same.

Different year early a’s have different mounting pins on them for each year. I know there are at least 2 different plates possibly more for the 63-66 cars. You probably have a plate correct for a 64 model with the round buttons.

Yes, 31 is for 2 barrel. Someone probably just tried to make it look like a charger model. Too many things incorrect about it to be a factory model.

Does it have any of the other charger stuff besides just the fender emblems? Doesn't have the wheels, and don't see the dash emblem. Maybe someone just added the fender emblems to a regular Dart 270.

I wouldn't put one on my wagon.

Picked up the car yesterday, it was a special order car with 2 barrel 273 and sure grip 7 1/4 rear end.

Ok, I'll keep that in mind. I don't know how bad the 273 that's in it now is, but it's not in running condition. May just try to use that instead of swapping.

I'm looking at buying a 66 barracuda that has a factory 3 speed manual on the column and 273 engine. Would like to swap a 360 into it and keep the 3 on the tree if possible. Is this possible? Also wondering how rare the 3 speed manual on the column is in the early cars, looking online they...

That's what I thought at first also. After looking up pictures of the 1965 valiant Acapulco the seats are original, and the door panels were redone, but are very close to the original style.

I know because the funky seats are original, vin number isn't decodable, no factory fender tag, Mexican slant six in it is different than US model slants, different emblems on outside of car, heater delete which is common in Mexico cars and the coolest thing is the 180 km speedo.
