The stock hinges will work but only with some type of spring attached to it, otherwise they are moving all over the place. There are softer/lighter springs out there for your application. Maybe someone can chime in on where to get them.

Csommers. Here is a picture of the drivers side fender brace. The only refference point I could get is measuring from the bottom of the bumper straight back was 11.5" for the hole location. The front edge of my fenders are trimmed so I could not measure from there. Hope this helps belmateo

The headlight buckets do not sit against the radiator support, you need to move the forward against the fender. Otherwise your headlights would be too far back from the bezel. If you still need the location of the lower brace hole, I can measure mine and get that for you.

They are easy enough to bend, in fact they are quite fragile. Be careful when you tighten it as they are not very forgiving. Good luck and WELCOME aboard neighbor

Hemi Dart style is UGLY

That makes sense, if you have less backspacing like I did with with a stretched wheel opening. They would come off without all that extra effort of disconnecting things. Can you get coilovers with more travel so the rear end drops down enough to get the tires off?

How narrow is your rear end?

Yes, the early vinyl tops were attached under the window rubber with metal staples from the factory

Because I did it on my 68 Dart, no special tools needed. Just take your time and be patient.
