    Steering wheel

Yes, the splines are on the bottom of the crush can...just like the A-body tuff wheel adapters.

    Steering wheel

Not sure about an early A. An E-body wheel doesn't have a lot of "dish" to it. A-body wheels have a lot more "dish". E-bodies use a long "crush can" to space the wheel away from the dash. On a 67+ steering column I think the wheel will hit the dash or interfere with the turn signal lever if...

273 stock coil location hitting vacuum advance

Not 100% sure but I'd guess that the stock distributor had the vacuum advance can in a different location maybe. Not really that big of a deal though. You can move the intermediate shaft(oil pump drive gear) to a different location which will move the location of the vacuum advance can. I...

What identifies 69 Dart GT on fender tag ?

The GT was the upscale model that had some of the performance "look" to it but without the performance engines. The largest engine available in the GT was the 318. The big block was only available in the GTS. The GT got the blacked out grill like the GTS and had the GTS interior.

What identifies 69 Dart GT on fender tag ?

According to the links, the VIN of a 69 Dart GT should start with LP. The dealer data book is a little strange about what engine was standard. Both the /6 and 273 are shown as being standard. https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1969/69_Dart0020.jpg

What identifies 69 Dart GT on fender tag ?

View the 69 dealer brochure here for lots of good info. The 1970 Hamtramck Registry - 1969 Dodge Dealership Data Book - Dart I also found this which describes how to decode the VIN. How to Decipher a VIN Code on a 1969 Dodge Dart or here... 1968-69 Dodge Vehicle Identification Numbers (vin)

    Electric Choke

Edelbrock doesn't want you connecting it to the + side of the coil because the coil doesn't see 12v. The + side of the coil runs through the ballast. The input side of the ballast will give you full 12v all the time.(when the key is in the "run" position)

    Electric Choke

I just wired my electric choke last week. I used the carb stud for the ground. It was a PITA getting that ground wire plugged into the electric choke terminal. Talk about a tight fit.

    Electric Choke

The blue wire that plugs into the inlet side of the ballast is a 12+ source from the ignition switch in the "run" position. This would be the easiest place to get your 12+. You can run a new wire from this location to your electric choke with your inline fuse holder. I don't really thing you...

    Parts cleaning

Electro plating is based on line of sight. The zinc won't be deposited on the inside of a part. There are pictures on the net that show the inside of a latch that was plated as a complete assembly. The inside is rusted. The pictures were posted by Jules the Wiperman.(RIP) EDIT: I found the...

    Parts cleaning

You wrote "latches" but I read "hinges" for some reason. On my Challenger hood latch and safety hook, I soaked them in EvapoRust. Then I darkened them in a black oxide solution. Then I coated them with RPM from ECS Automotive. On my Dart hood latches and safety hook I did the same. On the...

    cuda carpet kits?

Go through Dante. He won't steer you wrong. I think ACC is what most people use. I've heard Trim Parts carpet isn't molded to the floor like ACC is. I could be wrong. A lot of it has to do with how long the carpet has been inside a box. When I got mine, I took it out of the box...

Front Lowering Springs for 65 Barracuda?

If you decide to try and adjust them, take the weight off the suspension before you do. You don't want to be under there if the bolt snaps.(or the threads in the adjuster pull out) Use jack stands...don't trust the jack by itself.

    Door Jamb Rubber piece

I'm not sure if they make those new for that year or not. They do sell repros for other years. Have you checked Mega Parts? Maybe Herbs?
