Did you glue in the thin dense rubber seal to the header retainer? The larger/softer piece seems like it will lock into the retainer and not need any glue.

How much front/rear adjustment is there on convertible tops? The reason I ask is that the distance from the bottom of the glass to the dutchman panel varies quite a bit on cars I've seen. Some have a lot of material below the glass like yours but others have a lot less.
