Have an/your automotive machinist check and install the cam. Let it be his responsibility.

Have you figured your dynamic compression with that cam? You may have to increase the static compression ratio.

What heads are you running and are they and the intake ported? Seems like alot of stall, what rpm does the torque peak?

Also if you are going to port the heads, have them ported for nitrous. David Visard covers these porting techniques on his YouTube channel, good stuff. A nitrous cam that compliments your heads and intake is a good idea. I would call your cam manufacturer.

Everything in above post is good stuff. I would recommend you tell your machinist about how much nitrous you are going to use so he can recommend bearing clearance’s and piston ring end gaps. I probably wouldn’t go more that 100-150 with a cast crank.

I’m with RRR on this one with juice. Go fast now and hook it. All that other stuff can come along down the road. Make sure you reserve 1-1.5k for a 9.25 or Dana 60 cause sooner or later your going to need it. And probably at an inopportune time.

Do you feel that lean spot while accelerating through that point under load(driving)? Which leads me to my next question were all those readings you took under load? what I’m getting at is while accelerating its good but when get to cruising it goes lean. Does that sound right? consider this...

can you post a picture of the cam doc spec sheet? and also is this a cam sold through direct connection or mopar performance with a mopar part number?

cause its cool and its history, kind of like a space in time. are you old enough to remember?

Are you sure about those cam spec’s? Little light on overlap and lift.
