Yup, on a stock automatic, the knob has an allen head set screw in the lower front part of the knob. The screw tightens into a slot on the shifter lever. I'm not aware of any aftermarket shift knobs that fit that type shifter. You may have to modify one to get it to latch on there properly.

Yeah, it should have a white nylon pad in that location. I don't know anyone making them, but, you should be able to make and glue one on. I'd add a bit of silicone grease where it contacts the bell crank arm to reduce wear and prevent any sticking.

If you have the broadcast (build) sheet, that will have both the VIN and SO numbers on it. Both should match what's on the car. I believe a window sales sticker would have the VIN also.

We would need to know the exact drivetrain that is in each car to give you further details.....especially if you're trying to mix and match components. If the '75 has drum brakes, it will have the same bolt pattern wheels as a stock '63. If it's got disc brakes, it will have the big bolt pattern...

It's not just a simple engine swap. You need to do the transmission too, along with the exhaust system, accelerator pedal assembly, radiator, some minor wiring differences, etc.

There is no front valance on a '66 Valiant. I presume you're looking for the air shield behind the bumper that is attached to the radiator core support? If so, it's the same as a '66 Dart too. #littleredcoffin is parting one right now, so, you may want to contact him to see if his is good.

Can it be swapped....as installed in the car? Sure. You'll need bigger U-bolts and shock plates and will need to shorten your driveshaft along with wheel change of course.

Not counting the hangers and hardware, there should only be three sections of that system.

Factory part numbers......front pipe is 2208420 if it's a 170 engine, 2208440 if it's a 225, muffler came in two versions, 2208370 for zinc coated, and 2409125 for aluminized, and the rear tail pipe is 2460833.

I'm curious as to why that info would be needed on the fender tag. I wonder if any other Mopars have the M2 code that year. Anyone have a '67 B or C body with that code?

I haven't seen any listed anywhere. GG's books don't list any and one of his examples has the M2 code!

What does your IBM card say about what the M2 would be?

Well, I guess the M2 isn't for bumper guards then or they should have been on that car's fender tag.
