    Compressors

I have gotten conflicting answers from businesses in the industry about where the Sanden 7312 compressors are made. I have been told, USA, China, and Taiwan. One (I believe) reputable source told me that none of the 7312's are made in the USA. Anyone have any expert knowledge?

I am putting the stock A/C Heater Box assembly back into my car; Question...has anyone put the heater blower assembly in and then attached the A/C assy to the heater assy rather than installing the whole unit together? Just wondering prior to my install.

How does this heater box retainer rod (J-hook) work?

I have both types of heater box attachments and as stated by Rustedwrench that is the way to attach the is type of hook, it attaches from inside the fresh air vent and then attaches to the bottom by a screw in from the bottom of the fresh air vent.

Thank you for the post, I knew that the hole for the heater blower motor was larger (I am currently making an adapter) and I have the control head and bezel for a non A/C car. You have answered my question about the difference between the 2. Thanks again.
