    ANOTHER carpet install question

The further ahead the better. As long as it tucks nicely under the rear seat. I have never been happy with aftermarket shaped carpet. It always seems to be curved inaccurately. And I have installed a few incorrectly myself. Too short up the front. The heel pad is the defining factor. I think it...

    Hardtop vs Coupe vs Sedan

I think you are OK, if you trust wikipedia! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Dart The shape of the sail panels will tell tale.

    Hardtop vs Coupe vs Sedan

Hardtop needs no explanation. Sedan is without a doubt a four door. Coupe could very well be a two door post.

location for 1968 4 speed reverse light on dash

If it is, you can see it is directly below the lower dash mount hole. The picture are measured with the tape hooked to the dash base vs the frame structure it is attached to.

How to remove headlight and wiper switch without breaking them?

The headlight switch has a release button underneath on the bottom that you can feel if you reach back there. You pull the switch out, then push the button / release, and then pull it the rest of the way out. After that there is a threaded nut you will see on the front. A very careful...

    Barracuda dash

Well, the occasional rallye cluster made it into Valiants as we all know. But this is bassackwards. Having said that, to install a rallye into a standard dash takes some fabrication. Now going the other way........is it a bolt in or is the whole dash frame going to be different again? Hmmmm...

Help with identifying seat tracks and seat bottoms.

Kinda looks like a 70-71 duster pattern I think. Is it grey / silver inside the middle part? Also my 73 E-body seats only lock on the outer track. There is no wire across to the inside track. It just rides free. And I think they a much shorter than yours. Hard to tell without a side view.

Need pic of floor pan holes for bucket seats.

There should be divots in the floor. It may seem like the seat tracks are stretched out or in from them, but they are there.

    alien dash implant

Well, I just replaced one last week. It definitely did not have room to be removed or installed with the dash screwed in place. The structure supporting the column was only about 1/4-1/2" away. Less than the length of the pins. I disconnected the battery, unplugged the wiper switch, released the...
