It does work on the Barracuda, the grills and scoop openings tie together. Not sure about a Scamp or Dart, but the '70 / '71 Darts do have split grills. Might look alright.

You should be able to remove the original and reglue it to your new one. Take your time with a putty knife and peel it off.
