After the BS with the 833 looking 5 speeds from Passon, I would not consider them a source for anything.

It is your car and your money, so do what you want. That being said, I would HIGHLY recommend putting a Mopar engine in it.

So the 2400 340 stall is NOT higher than the 1800 stall 318 2 barrel??? They put that 'higher' stall converter in the 340 for a reason. 2400 is 'higher' than 1800, So that makes it a 'High' stall converter by comparison.
