Try putting a slight bend in the last inch of the dipstick, so if it's just hitting the windage tray, the bend may guide it past. Try both ways.

I've installed/replaced a few cooler lines in the car with/without headers.. It takes time and patience,, and sometimes you need to straighten them a bit to get them in,, but it can be done, (I'll never do stainless again).. I usually push them forward from the bellhousing.. hope it helps

This is where that "search" button would be handy,.. in the exhaust section and check out some "speed shops" in your area,, for a reference to a good local muffler shop, would be a good idea.. hope it helps.. cheers
