    Rookie mistake.....need help

Don't pound the old lugs outta the hub, or you'll ruin it. Cut or drill the head off the stud, and punch it outward.. The factory "swaged" the hub assembly, making the stud bigger than the hole, pounding it out results in loose, poorly fitting studs that like to spin in the hub, while trying...

    No Wheel Weights!???

I usually use the yellow crayon used for writing the customer's name, or valve stem position on a tire to be re-mounted, or to mark a nail hole, and put a corresponding mark on the"un-spotted"/visible side, saves all the pain you're experiencing.. Using 3 1/2 oz of weight to balance a tire that...

Time for new rear tires questions

Unless your car has been up-graded to large bolt pattern wheels,, a lot of the above info won't apply as to wheel sizes etc.. You need to measure your wheel bolt distance, ie.. Measure the center to center distance between two studs directly across the hub from each other. hope it helps

    Why small bolt pattern?

I bought my wife a TVR, a small british sport car with a 307 h/p Shelby 289.. 60 mph in 1st, 95 in 2nd, 130 in 3rd, - 160+ in 4th.. It had wire wheel knock offs.. In the first 2 weeks the LF wheel separated from the car at speed, thankfully it's only 3 inches off the ground, so driving on the...
