You may have to remove the fender to get at it and bend it... If you don't get more clearance, it may hit the fender and rub some paint off of that... :BangHead: Either way, you may have to touch up the paint... :mad:

The a-body hinges get sloppier with age... The driver's side hinge has a larger gap from the cowl side than your passenger side... Is there any way to bend the base of the hinge to bias it closer to the cowl side and away from the fender???

50 gallons would cover it and have some leftover for any needed touch-up later...

Make sure to test and check that the vent window opens all the way without hitting the mirror before you mount it.... Hold it in place and open the window to verify...

Have you checked the windshield wiper pivot seals??? Those get old and shrink allowing water to get inside the car....

Clean the surface well before applying any paint and primer.... They do not allow silicone lubricant in assembly plants because it causes problems with paint repair... Find out what will take off silicone and try that to clean the surface....

There is a clip that holds the linkage to the wiper motor under the dash that you have to disconnect... The rest is done from under the hood - disconnect the wiring harness, and then loosen the attaching bolts/nuts and remove it...

I can't find it.. It must be buried in the wood room...

Go with the 67 doors... They have the lock knob moved back so it's easier to hang your elbow on the door edge and look cool as you cruise by the chicks.... You gotta give them the 'casual elbow' when you drive by... :steering: The 69 knob location hinders the hanging elbow and gets you...

You have to be careful interchanging windshields and rear windows between 2 door and 4 door cars... One is an inch taller than the other...

Those holes are for ventilation for when you kidnap somebody and lock them in the trunk...

If you get a new one, put some hair around the key hole to protect it... Plus some people are more accurate aim with hair around the hole, which will help prevent damage... :p

If you drive around and moon people through the moon roof, then maybe some of the locals and authorities will take up a collection for you to cover the moon roof.... :eek:
