so you want a completly smooth firewall with just the steering column coming through? go with an ididit or similar. remove all the factory under dash peddel bracket stuff and use a column drop like in a hot rod. You'll stil want to do somefab work to stengthen the column drop mounting

if you're using the stock dash, do like roccodart 440 suggests, use remote reservoirs. i'd suggest placing them out side the fire wall in the engine bay for easy access. there's a number of options wilwood remote reservoir at DuckDuckGo

there are some threads where people have had (to put it mildly), problems. not just with the trans, but warranty, shipping and attitude

the laugh or cry? apparently there's a lot of challengers, and mustangs, and cameros ending up totaled with not too many miles on them. great for engine swaps, not a great commentary on the driving skills of who's buying these cars in the first place. what trans are you going with on your's?

if i remember you can look closely at the frame rail opposite where the bell housing ball stud goes and you might see a couple dimples on the top of the frame. could be covered in body coating. that would be the location the factory installs the bracket. i would install the motor and trans...
