I've got a Holley 1920 1 bbl. I'm not using as I've super sixed my Valiant. It was running when I had it on the car but has been sitting in the garage so it would need a quick going through. Shoot me an offer if you need it.

The first question should have been are you using a paint gun or rattle can. lol

Engine paint is not made to take the heat that the exhaust manifold puts out. They make special paint for them/it. Ceramic coating is the best but pricey.

I tried Eastwood ceramic and it looked like a mix of the blue and turquoise. It sprayed nice and was pretty but not even close in color. I called and they didn't seem to care so I used Bill Hirsch paint. It turned out nice and it was the right color. I'm at work for 2 more weeks so I can't post...

The dipsticks on both my 77 slant six and 78 360 transmissions say Dextron only. I'd be careful mixing the new synthetic fluids with the old dino fluids.

It depends on the total hardness (calcium/magnesium ) of the water. I have soft water where I live so tap water is fine.

If I remember right the last set I got from NAPA had the collars on them as I had to take them off for my 76 Valiant. I know that NAPA is a little higher but usually the quality is good.

The Viscosity of the oil definitly has an effect on pressure. I'm running 10W30 in mine. A temp. fix is to use a higher viscosity oil. I ran 20W50 until my new oil pump showed up. Some motor oil additives also increase viscosity. To me this was just a temp. fix. Also do some research on the oil...

Fuel pump diaphram leaking? Does it smell like gas? As stated water will look frothy when in oil as they dont mix. Drain the oil if its water it will come out first.
