it's probably a 73 fender and the side marker light was changed.they fit like a glove and line up with the bumper like it's made from the same mold.

I see...didn't know the hood was on when it was rubbing...They may be flexing when you close the hood,maybe try some grease ..idk,they look clean...could just be wore out. I don't see anything missing but that streek of orange paint.

they're always sloppy when the hood isn't attached

I have had several dusters with a shart tooth and a.c. and don't remember it being much different than the ones without a.c.....its a tight fit either way.

71 twisters came only with sharttooth and 72 twisters came only with standard grilles.

i think it can be a regular remote mirror too...as long as it's a duster or demon. i'm pretty sure the bracket that holds the cable bolts right through the door near the top hinge....so a thin 3/8s bolt head should be visible just by opening the drivers door.

also need placement for the cable bracket(in pic) that keeps the cable from rubbing door glass.when i pulled these mirrors off a 72 duster a few years ago i should've taken pix. appreciate any help. thanks!

you'll have to make em....if you don't want to cut the factory harness you can make a mini harness with the different ends to connect the two ends you have. if you don't mind cutting the harness(how i did on my 70 duster)just cut that rubber end off and crimp/solder female ends on and plug em...

amd did make one....i had one listed on here,sold it on cl tho. a good used one from 68=76 will work but they can be hard to find.

i just bolted mine on without trimming anything and it looks like the above pic....small gap @ the front,but tight everywhere else.

grease the springs...that's usually why they bend,rust and dirt not letting the spring work as it should.and also it was sometime in 72 when the hood mounting holes got bigger for the adjustment. good luck!

if you have no luck there it's a lotta trouble but under the windshield seal is always a nice place to find a nice shiney spot of original paint.

i think 74 bumpers are a little wider than 73 to accommodate for the plastic fillers.when i took the filler crap outta my 74 the bumper stuck way out on the sides....and i moved it in close like a 73.

sounds like something is wrong in the latch making it hard to turn...or some binding in the lock itself.it should be easy to turn key...

Classic ind.has b body windshield seals for 70$ and shp...a body shouldn't be much more...if any.

that looks like a daymare....worth a try tho,it'll be a cool car once finished.

i'd try to fix it...and i'm no expert either.you do get some satisfaction outta saving a car,and that ones cool.

i thin door glass is a no go butt the qt. glass is tha same.
