    Fan Shroud Restoration

As mentioned above, I’ve used SEM paint and plastic restorer with great success. I would use their whole product line if you want your shroud perfect. From their soap to wash the shroud, to the adhesion promoter and then trim paint. I did mine and various interior pieces. Came out excellent...

Cold Case or Griffin radiator in a 1970 Duster?

I’m thinking of getting a radiator from DeltaPag. They make a single core 1.5” thick radiator. They claim many guys on the power tour with 1200 plus horsepower have their radiators…I don’t have much room in my truck once I put that small block in it with a 671 on top. That 3” belt drive system...

Do you have a video of this running with the fans on? I must also run a pusher fan in my dodge truck with a small block 671.

Clutch fan vs derale single 2400cfm fan

1/2” clearance is plenty. I’ve had 3/8” of clearance from the fan clutch to the radiator on my ‘68 barracuda with small block. Never an issue.

Clutch fan vs derale single 2400cfm fan

That electric fan is no match to what a mechanical clutch fan can produce as far as CFM required. Under all circumstances I will always use a mechanical clutch fan if I can.

5 blade vs 7 blade clutch fan

I was looking on there I don’t see a part number on it. Strange. It may be on the backside of it where the clutch bolts to. I’ll look when I have it apart next time.

5 blade vs 7 blade clutch fan

Just thought I’d update this thread since I started it. I ended up using the 7 blade fan shown in my original post, with the MP viscous clutch, on my ‘74 W200, original radiator and shroud. It’s a rebuilt 360, 10.5:1 compression with a little baby cam not worth mentioning. I have a Stewart...

    318 Flex-A-Lite or Clutch setup

I have that same fan and clutch on my 74 w200 with a 360. That fan really moves some air. It works good. I can appreciate the time and work it takes to polish up those blades, I tried and gave up. I painted the SOB. Lol

    318 Flex-A-Lite or Clutch setup

I really don’t know, that’s one of the shortest clutches available. Measure from the water pump fan mounting flange to the radiator. What is that measurement?

I'll have to take it out of the box again! My car is in for paint, Vitamin C Orange! But I'll measure those tubes and verify. I'd love ya guys forever if you had that -AN option. Lots of manufactures offer that option for Brand X, but not for Mopar! I paid $550 including the extra Franklin for...

Also, I went with a radiator from Bob Mazzonlini. I think US Radiator is the make. Seems to be nice quality, dual 1.25" tubes. I like the formed tanks, similiar to how Cold Case makes theirs. I requested the -16AN & -20AN outlets, which they had no problem doing for me. When it comes to any...

    New Radiator trouble

Just a friendly discussion ;) I like the fact that Hayden went out of their way to make a clutch available, the 2947, specific to our cars, thanks to the many mopar guys who worked together to make it happen. From the Hayden spec sheet: pn: 2947: Heavy Duty, for use with fans with deeper...
