    Same wood spacer. No problems. I use Superformance carb base gaskets. I find those work the best.

    Innovators West makes a real nice dampener. They are available at Alkydigger in Tennessee. They don’t charge tax.

    I thought there was a thread floating around where someone was taking the insides out of a factory roller cam engine and making a solid piece to insert inside the lifter body.

    Yea I have and it fricken sucks. Had to use a cherry picker on the intake manifold to get it off the motor as well. It seals up good, and doesn’t leak. But good luck getting what you glued on with it off.

    excellent! beautiful car, beautiful wheels! i want the same wheels for my 68 fastback, but with a custom offset front and back, they are about $550 each! LOL cant do that yet..
