You can also pin the crank if you wanted. Alkydigger sells a complete kit to do so. It’s only about 120 dollars. Pretty crazy how that shaft snapped.

No sir. I didn’t do anything special. The water pump pulley is bolted to the front like any other one is. I used a pretty thick fan spacer, (1-3/4”) to get the fan out away from the blower belt. I just might be able to make this fit in my ‘74 dodge truck.

@Dorian Wow!! That’s cool. Here’s an update on my 671. Got the carbs from Dominic Thumper. Almost ready to swap over. Maybe I can make Mopar Alley in June.

I’d like to run it on a 671 roots blown small block. So keep us posted. That’s a very neat engine you have. Who made the manifold and do you have any more pictures of it.

Thanks. This is the cam I have in my 408 blower motor. Also a solid roller. But the idle is way more docile, which I don’t like. Lol.

Yessir. Lug wrench, jack handle, jack. All there. I’m running a Gates FleetRunner belt.

Looks like he’s got the room for one more inch on that belt. Rookie. Lol.

@DARTGAME I think the Max Wedge would be your best bet. He also makes manifolds for the Weiand 177, and The Blower Shop’s billet 192, which is a neat little beast. He’s not limited to the standard port LA either, he’ll cast you a manifold for W-2 port heads, edelbrock Victor heads. Anything...

Probably a few one offs in another country. I really want a set.

I thought the 1st year or 2 magnum had the block drilled for shaft oiling. that’s what I’m looking to do actually. A magnum with LA heads, using the first year of production block.
