Rewiring my EFI Magnum - 1970 Dart Swinger

I like it with the fan switch in lighter spot. Just a thought, keep the fan on all the time and when you turn on OD, the switch can also turn fan off since when in OD you're at speed with good air flow and not needed. make the fan switch to turn off fan if wanted then when you have AC added you...

    In-gear idle issues

The line going to the charcoal box should be a smaller line I think with a metered orifice, try just plugging it till you get it idling in gear without surg or stalling then hook it back up for a test.

Battery tray question, does anyone make a plastic unit?

New 3d idea, make it a plastic insert into the tray with a nipple on the drain to go through the opening of the inner fender that can attach a rubber hose down closer to the ground or use an acid free battery because I have seen battery cases get damaged in collisions.

    electrical short

I don't know the FAST system, does the 02 sensor have a heater circuit? Is the code for a rich, lean or heater circuit fault? Could be a false code due to a momentary rich condition or lean condition? Do you have an air fuel ratio gauge for both banks? Could possibly have an injector going...

I would make sure you have solid + and - at battery to engine and main power circuit then try a fused 12v wire direct from battery to coil, road test over bumps for a test, if it does stall you know that circuit is ok. sometimes it's quicker to eliminate good circuits. If you have a tach, try...

Car acts dead after it gets hot...

Most old Mopars I purchased over the years that did run had very similar problems. after INSTALLING a ground from engine to the body took care of the problem. Ground straps get left off or not a clean connection on fresh painted engine or firewall.

    Neutral Safety Switch

1 thing not to overlook is to have a ground strap from engine to body with clean connections. Most of the cars we have today have have a few owners and who knows what was left OFF.

    Not a mopar - 2002 Trailblazer question

Do NOT run the engine with the battery cable off, It can damage the PCM. The ignition switch will only cause a problem with no crank. You need to 1st check all the grounds on the engine if they are tight make sure they have a clean connection. take both battery cables off and clean, make sure...

Won't crank in Park but will in nuetral

I don't think the seat belt warning system will cause a no crank (only warning sound and light), 1st thing i would do is make sure shift linkage is adjusted correctly, next make sure you have a solid ground from engine to body.
