    Oh I used a touch, Sawzall, cutoff wheel or whatever to cut away the junk metal. Rust will dull the bits pretty fast.

    My numbers are probably exaggerated a bit but an old Mopar has between 5500-6500 spot welds depending on model and year. I drilled out anywhere from 3 to 8 cars a year. Enough that my hands and wrist are totally jacked up now to the point that I can't do that anymore and really don't know how...

    For over 10 years I drilled out around 30,000-50,000 welds a year. Tried several different methods. The Blair Rotabroach cutters are the best. Also get some Seam Buster blades.
