At the U Pull U pay yard in Aroura CO is a 64 Valiant 2 dr. /6. Had some nice interior stuff. Nice dash. Good doors. hood and deck lid. Nice trim. Grill. Someone had already snagged the one nice headlight ring.
I'm thinking that 67-76 use the same nozzles. I have them from 68-74 that look like these. Am I looking at the Classic ones right? They have one going the wrong direction or is it just upside down? Their screw holes are the same too.
The 1976 Feather Duster and Dart Sport Lite with /6 and 833OD were the first American cars to be rated at 31 mpg hwy. Not the Vega or Pinto. /6 Mopars!
I got 17 mpg city over about 4000 miles in my 1987 D150 SWB /6 833OD 3.91
I just put a 2.93 SG in my 72 Satellite 440/727 and drove 230 miles at...
Yep, no insurance coverage on this one.
I do have a nice roof, front clip, door, complete dash assy. cowl and most everything to fix it but to me it is not worth the time and labor, at least not for me. It also doesn't have a title.
Right behind the Dart was a 72 Duster /6 904 P/Disc A/C 8.75 that he bought from the original owner. It survived along with a Vette, a Harley and two Square body Chevys. The poor Dart took all the blows.
I actually have everything to fix this except time and desire.
Sad to see. Was a friend's project when his phone charger caught fire setting his garage on fire. I first saw it on the news. Was a real solid clean car.
I'm not butt hurt over this and actually they don't really say who built it. I would have liked to have my name on this one but no biggie. Is a really fun car to drive. All factory style suspension, no bags or coil overs. Tons of power.
The description is pretty accurate. Guess they don't know...
A funny trick to this car is the bigass TTI 2.25 primary headers that they say can't be used with power steering. Took me about 5 hours to make it work but yes it has P/S. The trick is that to change the starter the motor has to be suspended and the k-frame has to be dropped.
Well I guess I don't have any pics of the tag because I really suck at taking pictures plus I lost some of my pics.
It was a 318/904/8.75 Sub-Lime rubber front bumper with a white bench seat interior. That was pretty much it. Pretty solid car out of Santa Fe NM needing a roof skin and some...
I built this car a few years ago and it is going across the block at BJ next week. Funny how they talk about all the hours that "they" put into it. I put most of the hours into it. My friend did the body and paint and I did everything else.
They did change the head lights...
