Flywheel ? for the /6 guys

Okay I'll count the teeth but I'm betting that it is a 122T. It is just over 12" in diameter and if it follows suit beings a 130T is just over 13" and a 143T is just over 14". I just hate to toss it if it has a use being it's 50 year old virgin US steel. Yup, I said it again.:D

Flywheel ? for the /6 guys

Ya we had one for decades. It closed a few years ago but I was really surprised how long they stayed open after Lowes and Home Depot opened up just down the road. Pretty Sutherlands started in Kansas.

Flywheel ? for the /6 guys

When I said it was "probably 120 something tooth" I meant 120-129 tooth. Not 120. So 122 tooth. This never had a clutch on it. Had a drive plate bolted to it.

Did any year of Duster come with a stock coolant overflow tank?

Was option N76 in 72 and Fed required in 73. Not available in 71 so that was added.

Okay thanks Dan. It is my understanding that the motor was rebuilt around 15 years ago and has maybe fifteen thousand miles on it when I got it. It has an 833OD behind it. I actually can move the shaft fairly freely. So it just heats the intake manifold I'm gathering, correct?

I drove it for the first 3000 miles since I've owned it. Just changed the oil yesterday. Only used 3/4 of a quart in 3000 miles of around town driving. Pretty happy with that. Getting a solid 17-18 mpg in town. Real happy with that. I was thinking about getting the vapor system working to clear...

Ya some of it looks like older stuff. Same with the carb. Does still have the 87 distributor and is actually still running on the computer. Most of the wiring isn't connected to anything and the vapor system is not being used. Has the later starter too. It is really a sweet running little puppy.

Does anyone really do this to their cooling system?

My 97 Dakota with 330K and my 98 Dakota with 270K on the clocks both still have their original super clean radiators.

Does anyone really do this to their cooling system?

I only use 50/50 with distilled water only. Our hard water has way to much minerals in it.

Does anyone really do this to their cooling system?

Manual says "drain plugs" not freeze plugs.
