    summit promo code

I like Summit but for some reason they have started charging taxes on purchases. They say it's out of their control but the taxes can add up quick.

    Factory style hose clamps

The OEM clamps will work but if the hose is not connected to a port with a barb on it then it will leak. Found out the hard way by using OEM clamps on the water pump by pass hose. The one connected to pump worked but the one connected to the new air gap intake leaked. The fitting Edelbrock...

Moroso 5" alternator pulley for street?

I'm not sure it will be a over all benefit ... you might not gain a whole lot ... although you will gain something. I saw a 5" alternator pulley for sale the other day on here and thought "WTF".... never saw that before. Now to use a under drive crank pulley you will gain for sure. Got both my...

    Bad day...

Sorry to hear of you troubles but quoting Oscar Goldman ....with of course with a few changes. " A engine barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's fastest engine. This engine will be that engine. Better than what it was...

How bad do YOU want a 340 six pack intake -- not mine

I would probably look into some type of aftermarket fuel injection system before I would drop that kind of money. At least you wouldn't have to adjust the carbs every now and then and get all the benefits of modern day EFI.

    Not happy Paul’s Chrome Plating.

Like mentioned they wasn't concerned about the part that is not seen. By that one picture the front (the part that will be seen all the time) looks mint.

    Windshield differences?

I pretty sure 67-8-9 barracuda will work with each year. The main difference is if the glass has a tinted visor at the top of the windshield. You can get it with or without another words and this will change the part number.

    Windshield differences?

Look in the bottom corner of your existing windshield. Sometimes the make and windshield part number is listed there. You'll be looking for a number like "DW123". The "DW" I think stands for "domestic windshield". Give them that part number.

    wrecked and replaced

You might want to consider something else that isn't a muscle car, classic, or even something nice. Like a worn out honda. Leave the older cars for someone to fix up and enjoy rather than wreck them. I wrecked a few cars when I was his age... showing off, not paying attention, etc.. One was my...

I just installed Taylor ThunderVolt 50 wires. Bought the crimping tool and they went on without any trouble. Taylor makes a good wire.

    Diff question.

Or out of a ford crown vic IF you are using large bolt pattern I needed a spare tire for my cuda. Went to the junk yard and found one of those temporary spares out of crown vic. It has the same 28" diameter as the 275/60/15 I'm running on the rear.

    '68 383 Barracuda

Just guessing... sounds like it's not getting enough gas at higher revs. Once you let off of it does it start to run again... smoothly? Knowing it's a big block that carb is on the smallish side. I have a 750 double pumper on my small block 360 but it has a good sized cam, Eddy heads with CNC...

Who came up with the NGK part number system?

I noticed the same thing searching through NGK plugs. The heat range indicator opposite compared to other plugs as well. Exactly know what your saying.:BangHead:

Love it, hate it, Meh, Bee emblem on my GTS

Oh OK... that's back when dropping a hit of acid made everything.... "cool". :realcrazy: Why did the factory paint the rear drums? I mean is there actually a positive reason for it? It's like walking around in a pair of shoes and one is red and one is white. Older friend of mine went to a...

what to put in my 67

To many variables .... 440 6-pac got my vote. I've tried Eddy carbs and it moved the car but that's it. Never got any really good performance out of it.

    You get one car

I haven't made up my mind. It would have to be something comfortable, fuel injected, fast, manual transmission, handles and brakes like no other. It would most likely fall in the sports car category. BMW M3, Bugatti Veyron, or Porsche 918.
