DMH, QTP or RRP electric cutouts?

Just so happens I have ventured down the cut out road yet again recently. Have 03 Ram with 5.9 Magnum with single exhaust. I purchased QTP cut out back in 04. Had trouble with it soon after I installed it. Can't remember exactly what happened but it was something do with the motor. Called them...

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

My shipment arrived today and the reducers aren't welded. The X-pipe is a work of art. Very nice welds and will flow much better than the homemade version I have now.

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

Yeah I was worried about that. Looked through the reviews and found this: "The Hedman Hedders 21142 allows you to rotate the sensor to any position and eliminated my problem" I assume the reducers flange is not welded to the reducer so it will rotate. I will know for sure today since my order...

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

That's some great info mattax... I appreciate it. I'm going to clean up my exhaust between the header flange and mufflers. My X-pipe is "homemade" by the muffler shop I took it too. I have never been real happy with it. I bought a new Flowtech X-pipe in which looks like it will flow better and...

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

You know what... I'm glad I went back and read the instructions...lol It says "exhaust port" not "collector" like I mentioned. I have a wideband on my truck but the exhaust is laid out difference and there was no guessing. "A weld-in M18 X 1.5 boss is supplied for sensor installation. Mount...

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

The instructions don't mention anything about a X-pipe being in the exhaust system. It states must be 18" from exhaust collector. This is where I'm confused... I guess I will mount it right after the X-pipe. Thanks to everyone... you have cleared up some confusion I was having.

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

OMG! Thanks.... I didn't think of that. The instructions state that the sensor needs to mounted 18" past the collector (I should have mentioned that earlier). In my case that is where the x-pipe starts.... so I thought it would be best mounted just after the x-pipe.... after both pipes have...

    Wideband O2 Sensor location advise

I bought a AEM Wideband to install in my 67 cuda in order to nail down the AFRs. What I have is a Eddy Airgap intake with Holley 750 HP carb, TTI headers, and X-pipe. I don't have a open spacer under the carb in order to combine both left and right venturies for a correct signal to the O2...

    Cut outs

I got one on my Dodge Ram after the high flow cat just for the added fun it. I like it when its open. Has a deep "growl" to it. However the motor that opens and closes the butterfly went bad. Bought another one to fix it. I think what happened is the motor doesn't have a stoping point when it...

360 block, post 92 Magnum heads, which Headers?

Check TTI as well. They might have something for you. I have TTI on a 360 with Eddy heads and have no issues.

    Help me choose a muffler

For the record... I like the Ultraflos so much I have them on my cuda and my 03 Dodge Ram. Don't get Fagnaflows... lol.....the few I've heard didn't sound all that great.

    Ceramic Headers

Mine look brand new all the time because I seldom drive the car and the sits in a closed shop with epoxy flooring. It depends how much you drive the car, where the car is parked most of the time and how you take care of the headers themselves.

    dynomax vs. dynomax ...

I have the welded ultraflows and they are somewhat quieter than the Flo 40s I had. No drone. I like them.

Yep..... you can't go wrong with those.

glass pack and and muscle car sound

I wouldn't mess with those Fagnaflows either.... I've heard them and they don't sound as good as other mufflers.

glass pack and and muscle car sound

I wouldn't put glasspacks on anything I own. There are way better sounding mufflers out there. A very deep rumble (turbo mufflers of your choice) sounds more like a muscle car sound to me than a raspy glasspack sound. Ok ... you live in GA and I live in SC. You can get away with no mufflers at...

    Flowmaster

Be careful on what brand you chose on elc cutouts. Don't use Quicktimes they're junk! Contact moparman a member here (if you go with e cutouts). He has the good quality ones.

d450 headers 90* or straight oil flter adatper?

Can't get by with using the short oil filter instead of the long one? I use the short oil filter with my TTI headers with no adapter needed.

    Best headers?

    TTI headers of course!
  30. mullinax95

    Just installed tti headers !

I thought I was going to do that but I had to take them out after noticing that the headers was definitely going to be in the way. When they are laying on the sides of the engine bay they are actually just all in the way. I installed my headers afterwards from underneath. You might luck out...
