Rt Front Corner down 1 1/2"

how to adjust torsion bars mopar - Google Search I can't find it on the net but I believe the correct procedure is measure from the lower ball joint to the floor ... write down that measurement. Measure from where the torsion bar goes into the LCA to the floor and write that measurement down...

    FRONT END SQUEAKY

I can't say without being there but in my experience with the mopars I've had the creaking comes from the torsion bar bushing going bad. If that's case might as well rebuild the front end. While you're under the car have someone press up and down on that one side. You then can locate where it's...

    Centering a steering wheel

All I did was just barely put the steering wheel on and hand tighten the nut. I took it down the road and while driving observed which way it needed to be rotated until center. Pulled over removed the nut and rotated the steering wheel just enough and started all over again. I got it perfect...

Cheapest way to get an inch or 2...

Yes,,,, yes airshocks do suck! I rode in a Nova that had them. We aired them up ... rode rough.... we let air out .... rode rough. I have never understood what the intention of these type shocks was. I guess to raise a vehicle I assume but throw the ride quality out the door!!!

20s for the Demon - how low can I go? (big wheel haters don't look)

Ok this is a Nova we are working on at the shop. We're doing the interior work and glass. It has 20s on the rear and 18s on the front. The car has air bag suspension on it and the first pics is with it lifted then towards the bottom it is with it lowered (parked). This is a high end build here...

I wouldn't put air shocks on my anything I would ride in. Probably wouldn't put air shocks on something you ride in either. lol

20s for the Demon - how low can I go? (big wheel haters don't look)

Drop down to 18s and you will be fine. 20s get into "Yo man" category. Whatever makes you happy however.

SS Springs + air shocks don't ride well

I wouldn't put air shocks on anything.... I don't understand why they even make them.

  19. mullinax95

If you're looking for horsepower then why in the hell did you create your thread in the Suspension, Steering and Chassis forum dumbass? You sure don't know to how to ask for help for your horsepower needs. Do yourself a favor and go back out the door and come back in with a different attitude!

    Stuck Torsion Bar, SERIOUSLY stuck

I would like to see a picture of this. I have never heard of one being that hard to get out. It must be rusted pretty good. I think all the above advice is what I would throw at it.

    Get those bloody bushes out.

I would stick to the rubber ones. The poly ones "might" start squeaking.

    Leaf Springs,Replace or recondition?

I haven't read all the gibberish but if it was me I would buy new ones. I look at it like I have spent all this money on this car might as well go with new ones. They aren't extremely high in price anyways.

    Rolling Feeling

There is all kinds of different things that could cause vibrations. The best advice I can suggest is process of elimination. I would make sure it isnt the engine causing the vibration by eliminating the drive train. Simply put it in Park or Neutral and rev the motor until it gets to the RPM that...

    R&R leaf springs

I guess I can't understand why you would really need to do both sides at once. I have always left one side totally together with the wheel and tire still on that side with tire on the shops floor. Safer way of doing it I do believe. I change the other side...... put it back together .... tire...

    Torsion bar removal question...

Yeah I have had great success with pushing the control arm back. I guess the tool is used to change out just the torsion bars or general maintenance that would require the torsion bar removal.
