    No fuel flow?

Might be debris in the tank as well. Have you ever had the tank out or installed a new tank? Debris can get sucked to the tank filter sock as you drive along restricting fuel flow. When you shut the engine off the debris falls off. Once you start the engine up the process starts all over again.

    fuel return line

I like figure 3 the best. Keeps the regulator out of the engine bay. Might be a pain in the *** to install... adjust.

    fuel return line

The company that is selling the sending unit has it labeled wrong or they are mainly concerned about the primary fuel line and label it "3/8 with 2 lines". They should state that it is "3/8 with a 1/4 return". If the return is actually 1/4 .... I don't know for sure.....

    fuel return line

I have a return "port" on my tank. Not sure the correct term of this port but basically have two ports on my tank. One is used for to feed the carb and the other (return) I have capped off at the tank. Been thinking installing a return line to the fuel system. Your method sounds pretty...

    Torque spec

Edelbrock states 25ft/lbs tightened in two steps. This is with at Air-Gap intake. What I used for my intake. I believe the cast iron is 30ft/lb. I went what Eddy said until I have a reason to crank down on it harder. Used ARP Thread sealant on the bolts so oil won't weep up onto the intake from...

Fuel Problem, Took Duster for a Shake-down Cruise

I went through the exact same ordeal. The float was still attached to the sending unit but someone had tie wired it to the sending uint arm. My sending uint filter was clogged as well. New sending unit and tank took care of the problem.

    vacuum secondary vs. double pumper?

I read an article in Car Craft years ago that stated the same thing.

    Carter, Edelbrock, or Holley?

I've tried a brand new 650 Eddy, and a borrowed 750 Eddy and never could get great performance out of them. Everything was set on the carbs but they just didn't have that "punch". Saved up for a Holley 750 HP carb and I sure glad I did. Eddys get the car where you want to go.... car shows...

adjusting holley floats on shaky engine?

Thanks I will remember that! I have always adjusted the float (dry) so it was getting gas but wasnt near the sight plug. Then adjust (wet) until I saw gas at the bottom. This applies to shaky engines. On my toolbox I have got it wrote down with a sharpie which direction to turn the float...

    electronic fuel pump???

It's been a while since I seen the article but it was in a car craft mag. They had a holley carb with the return line coming off the bowl inlets on the throttle lever side of the carb. Gas coming in the on oneside of the bowls and out the other side (return line). Both front and back bowls was...

    electronic fuel pump???

Mechanical pump or get off the wallet and buy a higher quality pump. Look for a rotary-vane non pulsating pump. They still make some noise. In tank pump will be the quietest.

    Fuel Line System

Sounds like what I needed to have done. These pumps are supposed be quieter. The ones at the top of the page are the quieter ones and the ones at the bottom of the page are the louder ones. They resemble the holleys. There is a member on here that used one of these pumps (the ones closer to...

    Fuel Line System

I don't have the Holley pump on my cuda but when I had the pump on a Charger it was loud. I installed inner tube between the pump and the frame. That didn't work. I even put inner tube between the pump mount and the pump! Then I installed thick rubber(some kind of concrete floor mat that suppose...

M1 dual plane vs chinese air gap

I would run the M1 since you already have it. Its a dual plane so you its a good intake for what you are running. Does the intake ports match up with your head ports? Now to me if the car is going to be in cruise ins etc,,, I would save up for the real air gap. Since you have people giving it...

adding a proform main body to a 650 dp

Im pretty sure you have to buy a main body that is 750 cfm to make your carb 750. I mean the metering blocks, bowls, etc.... are all interchangeable. No it wont be to much. You are talking about air not gas. How you jet the carb determines the gas as well as idle mixture settings.
