Is there a lock on the LA Rocker arm adjustment screw

They are an interference fit. Just crank on 'em. BTW, your are buried, you need some threads showing or some longer pushrods. Id rotate the motor until the valve in question is all the way up and then crank about 45 more degrees and loosen that lock nut until you can get a clearance and then set...

    72 lancer catalytic converter

Cats on a 62? Ok.... They will clean up the exhaust but should not alter performance. Most stinky old cars I smell are pig rich. I wanna pull them over and hand them a screwdriver. A rich mix into a catalytic converter will kill it fast.

Welcome aboard from Tustin! Fling is a great resource for all things Mopar. Good networking site too. Meet up with some passionate owners....I'm scared to death to drive my classic on the freeways here. No one cares....

The Start of my First Mopar Build

'51 Studebaker? Dads first car was similar, a 50 Ford, he put a propeller on the front nub, I guess that was popular back then.

    New “young” guy

The lugs on the motor connect to U channel looking almost square brackets that then attach to isolators that look like ice cream sandwiches. Like these but 340 has 1 unique bracket but the isolators are the same. You should see 2 elongated holes on the K member where these threaded studs drop...

    New “young” guy

OOf, I hope you got the passenger side exhaust manifold! There is no frame, its a unibody. There is a few places that the VIN is stamped but its not really a big deal to Mopars. On the pan rail of the motor is a stamped number that should match a portion of the stamped number on top of the rad...

    New “young” guy

So your new to Mopars and jump in with a 340 Cuda? Wise choice! Welcome aboard... FYI, that's about the pinnacle of Mopar small blocks right there, and a great body year to boot.

    340 exhaust manifold swap

Put rtv on some studs for those bolts. Won't happen again. Naked studs will most likely seize up in there over time.

    Hey y’all from Ga

a diamond in the rough! Kinda like it like that....all go, no show! Funner beating someone in a 'beater' than a decked out restomod. Has that "Yeah, wanna F with me?" look.

'64 Cuda 225 Pushbutton Fix or Sell?

Part it out. a few guys here can make 3x what a project car sells for...it may keep a few 'ol A's on the road a little longer. Just a final option thought

'64 Cuda 225 Pushbutton Fix or Sell?

Ouch, ditch that diamond pleat! .....Other than the few holes in the floor...whats wrong with it? first thing I would do is get a DA with some 80 grit and go to town, then buy a case of black primer spray paint from Walmart and rattle can it to get it one color and protect it from future rust...
