Use a razor blade to remove the runs. Keep 90 degrees from the panel then slowly shave them down. Don't be alarmed when the razor blade screams when you drag it across the run...lol.

No I did not. It's a factory 360 car so, if 5/16 was good enough for it new, it's good enough now. A little side note is that pretty much every mechanical fuel pump has a 5/16 hole to allow fuel in, even the ones that have the ability to change the fuel barb size, behind the fuel barb the hole...

Thought I would dust this off and say that after driving it some I started to have fuel delivery issues. If you kept it under 2,500 RPM it would drive all day long no issues. Replaced the fuel pump (that was new) then replaced it again, no luck. The only thing that wasn't new in the fuel system...

About time we got an update...lol

It's been a hot minute since I posted any update on here. I went on vacation and then had to go to Tennessee for a week for work. Finally getting back on it. I have fluffed and buffed the drivers quarter, door and, the hood. I have the drivers fender and front valance left then maybe a couple...

Thanks!! I'm just doing body and paint. I'm sure I will assist in some of the assembly since he is a friend of mine so I will try and keep some pictures coming as that process unfolds.

Today was PAINT DAY!!!

Car is jammed...on pace to hopefully paint on Saturday morning. It's gonna be a long night tomorrow night to get everything done before paint day but, I think we can do it...

Shell is back. Going to block it out for hopefully the last time..seal it up and hopefully be painting in 2 weeks. The goal is to have it painted before my wife and I go on vacation July 1st.

Little more painting tonight. Now that this stuff is painted on the bottom they will go in storage for now. The body comes back tomorrow, it's really close to being ready so, I will block it again and see where I left off last fall.
