    Dragster Circa 1992

Built this one back in 1992 and it’s still holding together in a case. Can't believe it's been 30 years. Went a little overboard w/PE stuff and scratch-built items, specifically the fuel system. It was a fun build that took a few years to complete. It was supposed to be a Joe Amato replica but...

Had a little time this weekend to finish up the interior and start on the headers. I found a cool link below on how to make the headers. I used .062” solder drilled 4 holes into the heads to countersink the solder. The heatshrink at the end is temporary to hold the solder together. Heatshrink...

Haven't had much time lately but I made some progress on the interior. Got the roll cage, seats and Pro-Tech seat belts installed over the weekend. Got the steering column, steering wheel and 5" tach detailed. Hope to finish up the interior this week and move on to the next.

I didn't like the bulges on the hood w/the Hemi scoop so I dremel'd them off and filled w/model bondo. One more application and a final sand and it should be good to go.

WANTED – 1/25 Scale Long Tube Headers

Thanks for all of the replies guyz. Gonna either buy a suitable kit and rob the headers or make my own out of solder. Diymirage - The link for making headers out of solder is awesome. I looked on the net for something similar but couldn't find anything.

WANTED – 1/25 Scale Long Tube Headers

Looking for a set of headers for my Dart project w/a 440 from the Monogram Superbird kit. Looked thru my stash and found nothing that works. If you have an extra set that you’re not using or can recommend a kit with a nice set of headers, shoot me a pm. Thanks,

Got the wheels and caps from Scenes Unlimited (item W22) however, I don't see them listed on their web site anymore. They were 3D printed and I wrapped w/bare metal foil then detailed them.

Made a little more progress on the Dart. Had to make some mods to the interior to clear the tubs: remove back seat, make new rear firewall and package tray and trim the door panels. Opted for a 440-6 from the Monogram Superbird kit that fit like a glove cept lost hood clearance. Cut a hole in...

    Homemade Airbrush Cabinet

Over the holidays, I made a homemade airbrush cabinet. I dismantled an old dehumidifier and kept the metal cover and the fan. I used the cover as the sides and back, added leftover paneling for the top n bottom, cut a hole and mounted the fan, bought a plastic cake cover from the dollar store to...
