Don't use it if you have the vent in tube. Every time you fill gas will run out under car until it drains below rollover vent. Ask me how I know, Joe

yep when I saw where gas was running out I capped it off at tank.

Like said if your filler is vented don't use this rollover valve. If it is not mounted above filler cap it will drain gasoline in filler tube all over the ground when you fill tank full. Big fire hazard at service station. Been there done that!

yes, If it rolled over gas would still spill out filler vent. No problem using filler vent only

I have the Tanks Inc and had the roll over vent mounted as high above rearend as possible but when I would fill tank gas would run out under car until the gas in filler tube got lower than rollover vent. Was dangerous so I removed it and rely on filler tube vent

If you have dirt dobbers there and left line exposed they will stop it up over night. If you left one end unhooked run a piece of wire in it to see if it is blocked within 6 inches from end

Is your pickup tube reaching bottom of tank

one problem is the way our tanks are shaped is half way up tank is not the same as half the volume

I played with mine until I got ohms right , then installed in new tank and flipped tank upside down to check before adding gas

also put a piece of chain or rocks to slosh around and loosen the rust

figure your gas milage you are getting from the miles driven and gallons used then multiply that by say 15 gallons and you should know approximate miles you can safely drive without running out.
