    392 & 8hp70 65 Valiant

Dude, that dash bezel is AWESOME! Very well executed. Just a quick note on your dash - Chrysler used suede paint on the tops to eliminate glare. Looks like it's in already but if it's just there loosely might want to consider something less reflective for the top. I had a '65 Valiant myself...

    This thing sounds WICKED

Thitek heads - lets say CNC port with 2.125" intake valve and "beehive" springs - about $3,600? Solid or hydraulic roller? What headers? Inquiring minds want to know, thx.

    engine harness for $$$

I think for the boost aspect alone the Holley should be your choice since those parameters are already built into the ECU and software. I hate to sound like a shill for them but it just seems to be the most logical way to go about this. No clue how other harness/ECU vendors handle supercharged...

    engine harness for $$$

Is this a Hellcrate? Is it drive by wire? Does it have VVT? There are some major differences between certain years. pass. car or truck variant, etc. You might want to think about how involved you want to get with controlling it and whether you want to spend time learning how to build a system on...

    star mobile obd2 scanner

Star Scan/Star Mobile came out after 04. The DRB was before that. Star Scan sucks, it is soooo slow. I used it every day for several years. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to smash it into little bits. Besides, it won't do what you want it to do. It only works with a CAN controller...

    03 5.7 down

Not sure if the truck has a removable panel or inner fender but if you move/take that out, then you should have much easier access to the manifold bolts.

No problem. You might end up needing valve guides etc. Mine are in decent enough shape, much lower miles. Just figured rather than rebuilding parts with a lot of wear and tear you could clean mine up and run them, likely for less coin than rebuilt heads. Make an offer if you change your mind.

    A v6 Curiosity

I think so. I remembered that car from several years ago. Always thought they did a nice job.Almost kind of looks like it belongs in there. There are actually some hop up parts for the 3.9. JBA makes headers for it. Fastman makes throttle bodies. Could be a fun deal. Bet you could find an...

    A v6 Curiosity

Yes they are. We are replacing the left side cylinder heads on the 3.6 because of a misfire issue. There is a design flaw in the way the coolant flows through the head and it cooks the valve. (I work at a Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge dealership.) Have fun with that without the right tools! No it...

    5.7 HEMI Vs. 408 Stroker

Good points, but if you go with EFI, you could dial back the fuel curve to commuter levels then when you want to get on the loud pedal more power is just a click away. There's no way a carb can compete with FI for economy assuming that's part of your equation. Some sort of OD would also...

    5.7 HEMI Vs. 408 Stroker

Another vote for a fuel-injected 408 - best of both worlds and far less installation headache. The only 'hassle' is to sort out the engine management system. The Edelbrock system is pricey but complete and IMO will still put you ahead of the 3G hemi money wise considering the inevitable trans...
