Nice job and good thinking. Just like the responses above, a little head use goes a long way if you know what your looking for! I did this very thing with a 60cc Syringe. Plexiglass and a dab of grease to seal it up.

I have this and unless the car is a good bit UP! I can’t use it very much or at all. It’s a good unit, just needs room.

Yup! Hate to do it but...... There is also an adapter that can be swapped in place of what is there at the lift point now. That could help ya out.

It is an ignition book by the then company owner and inventor Dr. Jacobs of Jacobs ignitions. It is packed with information but not just ignition. Skip reading this book is a mistake IMO.

Read, understand and learn that book by Dr. Jacobs. I spent time on the phone with him a ways back. He is stupid smart but doesn’t speak over your head. He was an excellent guy to talk shop with. That book is super cool.

I wired a MSD & a Chrome box to the control panel.

2X3 box tube that slides into box tube w/ Harbor Freight big dolly wheels so the hoist can roll under it. Remember to offset the radiator. Mine is slightly taller than the one above which I like a lot. The just hate bending over to mess with the carb or distributor hold down bolt.
