That’s not exactly true of the engines power rating but more of what everything else is doing in, on and about the car. If your chassis and drivetrain behind the engine are all sorted out, it’ll perform great. If not sorted out, is the engine to blame?

Thanks. I got the distributor in hand now. I read the MSD and took it from there as if it’s the same curve though the “Actual” curve even if the same as the MSD is the same would be good to know.

@Mopar Vince It is in my opinion that the 904 will serve you well without issues while allowing more HP & Tq. to the wheels since it takes less lower to turn. The lighter weight is also a plus.

I agree. There EZ to set up and work excellent. All of my rides (except my E-body Cuda) came as a 2bbl. from the factory. The rockers are a bit pricey.... Your short block would be the easiest way to get there. Then the purchaser can add your or there own cam to suite.

OK cool, so, IF I don’t have a flexplate, I use a B&M 360 flexplate designer for neutral balance converters. Correct? And a front harmonic balancer like yours or one for the listed years on the Blue Print site.

What flex plate should be used? Neutral or weighted? Thanks

I’ve never seen the carb plumbed on the drivers side save a mechanical 6 pack set up. All 4bbl. Carbs are set up for passenger side.

Oh yea! Old Tyme trick right there. Since the rear of the leaf springs only job is to hold up the rear of the car when your at launch, they actually hold back the cars reaction and abilities. The other half of that trick is to install clamps on the front of the springs to stiffen them up. MP...
