Feeling the rad hose is not how we tell if there hot or not. Hell at 160 the rad hose is hot to touch.

That should be plenty of fan, do you have a shroud for it?

I think Mancini racing carries the vicious fans.

They should just bolt on to switch. I did mine when I put a different radiator in and I built a shroud to work with it.

You guys are losing a lot of horsepower, by changing fans you can feel the difference probably 20-25 hp.

I may have a extra fan & clutch pm me if you need it. You will feel instant difference be tween the two.

You have a bad core, you can get one at rock auto there not to expensive or hard to change.

The lower rad hose is also a big one.

Fan clutch will free up horse power, enough that you can feel the difference. If it wont cool things for you, than you got other problems.

No fan helps after 50 mph. Stay with 190-180 thermostat. Your not hot till you get onto the 220-230 range. Make sure you use antifreeze and at lease a 10+12 lb cap on the radiator.

Sounds like your driving a time bomb, A little like Russian roulete. Take some time and start fixing some of the issues.

At the fire wall just take a piece of hose from one to the other. Off the water pump use a piece of pipe inside the hose, couple of clamps and go.

I have a 3 row in my 67 barracuda 360 400hp works great and looks good. 5 years now, you can polish the alluminum to make it look like chrome also.

That wont hurt anything and should run good there, everything being new generates a little more heat, I always go by 220 or under is ok. Too cold they dont get warm enought inside and thats no good either.

My temp gage SW shows 190 when I check my radiator it shows 180 I run a 180 stat. Just saying.
