I paid 168 from mancani for a new dizzy that is easy to curve and set up, very happy with that one. For 50 I will shipp my old one in good condition off a 68 340 barracuda with a nice curve already in it, works 100 percent. pm me if insterested.

The easy fix would be to switch valve covers. With those ribs in there I dont think you can just drill a hole.

Do you need the one piece rod going from carb to trans or is it the 3 piece? I have the one piece.

I threw the one out to for a 6 cyl barracuda.

Im so sorry Im thinking v8 I dont have a clue on the 6 but I dont think it would be too bad to do.

Not sure what your working on but loosen up mounts and shift it around a little doesnt take that much to get to bolts, then wiggle pan out.

You wont have to remove it but you will probably have to loosen the mounts and jack things around.

I run the kit from trailbeast starts right up hot or cold, and it was the best hundred I ever spent,His support is excellent also if you need help.

Somethings wired wrong but the hei conversion I told you about will eliminate a lot of old wiring plus give you better results. Cant believe you didnt order the kit yet, its like a $100. and easy to install.

PM trailbeast and get the hei conversion and get rid of your coil and balast resistor both and have a hotter spark.

You can get one made by anyone who has a pipe bender and they can adapt any muffler to fit.

12 to 15 turn idle down it will run great my guess is.

If you dont have a front sway bar get one it will make a big diffrence.

I had a problem like his with my lawn mower I used ethnol remover in my gas and it fixed it, It started and ran great but if you shut it off long enought to get a drink it wouldnt start unless you threw water on the motor, bought a can of ethnol remover added to the gas every other tank full...

Drop a v8 in it that should take it up to 13, ha ha.

Sounds like accelerator pump issue when you look into the carb and work throttle by hand is it getting a shot of fuel? If not the pump might be shot.
