electric fuel pump oil pressure switch pins gauge

WAIT! What were we talking about? Oh that's right...Wlecat wanted to know if there were other locations on a 340 to install an additional oil pressure sensing device? or do I need to T it? ;)

electric fuel pump oil pressure switch pins gauge

1967 Ply Barracuda with a '69 340, yeah I figured out it's just a switch not a sending unit, that's why it pegs the gauge, doubt I can measure the resistance with the tools I have. Will need to use both the sensor switch AND a sending unit, as I asked before is there another location on a 340 to...

electric fuel pump oil pressure switch pins gauge

I think I figured this one out on my own. Are there other locations on a 340 to install an additional oil pressure sensing device?

electric fuel pump oil pressure switch pins gauge

I put in an electric fuel pump in my Barracuda, the fuel pump company suggested that I feed the power to the pump through an oil pressure switch as a fail-safe measure (good idea I thought). So Iinstalled a 3 prong oil pressure switch to feed the pump and send a signal to the OP gauge. It works...

    Can anyone identify this plug?

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. No it's black, (probably from reflection looks a little violet) and it is a 67. I didn't do any of these changeovers. They replaced the 3spd column manual with an auto trans so that's probably why the wire is left over because it wouldn't plug in or they just...

    Can anyone identify this plug?

The original engine was a 170 slant 6 with 3 on the tree. there doesn't seem to be any indication ofthere being a/c and it's in a convertible. alot of changes made Ill check the fender tag and make sure the...

    Can anyone identify this plug?

This plug was apparently left over when the 1967 slant 6 was converted to a 1969 340. It looks like it may have been a sensor plug, but it is 2 prong. It is factory wired into the harness but I can't seem to identify from the schematic, I'd like to be able to use it for something else if not...

new "exact fit" alternator doesn't fit

My old round back alternator crapped out on me, not sure what amperage it was since there’s no marking andit didn’t put out anything ( had it tested at NAPA). I ordered an “exact fit” 60a 2Vbelt replacement for my 1969 340 and it showed up as a square back, I tried...
