Trailbeast is right on the money as is RustyRatRod. The converter hub must be as smooth as a crank journal. Any surface wear on it, etc. will cause seal/bushing failure eventually.

my duster had 50k original miles when I bought it, and it had overload/air shocks on it. both body side shock mounts were ripped out of the floorpan. the shock mounts weren't designed to carry body load on it constantly, only transient dampening loads.
