    Installed this last weekend

My stamped pan doesn't leak, the flanges need to be checked and flattened just like an oil pan. I drilled a hole in mine in a correct place, welded a nut in and used an oil pan drain plug. The cast covers are nice though, no arguing that.

    My Luck

The wife and I went to a steakhouse the other day, they have the Rocky Mountain Oysters on the menu. Neither one of us have had them in years, we ordered them-they weren't like I remembered them. They have a ******** Festival every year. The name of the place is The Round The Bend Steakhouse...

    Vacuum Secondary Conversion

Good inputs thank you guys. Some of my thinking was based on this thread. The general consensus was that VS was better for an automatic on the street. My plan is to make one change at a time as mentioned above. First the intake manifold. The situation is a little complex as I am moving to the...

Timing chain set for the street/driver?

Rollmaster or Cloys true roller. If you can, degree the cam, not sure where you'd dig up specs if its stock but they are probably published somewhere.

[FOR SALE] 1967-1969 stainless windshield trim

Bought a new set for my 68 barracuda vert. Only needed the bottom piece. This set includes a bottom piece that was not quite nice enough for my crazy build. Its a little beat up, few dents, etc. The sides and top pieces are Brand New still in plastic from AMD through Classic Ind. Paid like...

speedmaster stuff pulled from Summit racing shelves

I don't think they were ever patented in the first place and protection would be near non-existent. But I do know it's not a copy of a stock head, the castings between aluminum and iron have to be internally different for multiple reasons. But to me, copying them with the sole intent of...

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

The car builder is doing the whole build. Other than the engine and transmission. Hopefully he does a good job of the interior. If not, I know a guy who lives less than 5 minutes from me that does the best work I’ve seen on upholstery etc. But I’m hoping it turns out great the first time!

I just don’t really want to meet any of these guys because they would be naked if the had to wear American made clothes.

Best way to lift a slant 6 engine block ?

Great lifting bracket. Was successful with engine swap without removing hood.

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Ha. Yep, here you go! I know nothing about engine builds or what any of this means, but maybe you guys will! Looks like it’s saying 385 hp to me. I’m sure he said 395 when I picked it up I’m sure hoping he put a cam in it. I told him that I wanted that done….for the sweet sound of it. I see...

    Headers vs. Manifolds

My 318 2bbl '77 van dropped from 11.17 to 10.92 in the 1/8 mile by going from manifolds to headers. And the manifolds had dual exhaust. The more motor, the more the effect in my opinion.

    1965 Dart 270 4dr sedan

Today the taxi is back in former glory. Had it through the state inspection and no comments. -That's a cab I remember from when I was young, said the inspector. Dad had one of those when I was a kid. Talk about a coincidence!!

    Another NPK question

I am not begrudging the racer, it's the fee's of the in-between guy. They are no different than a scalper going in and buying up seats at one price, then standing out front selling them at their price. It's just the way that I view it, but it is what it is.
