    Hiflow Waterpumps

I had a Milodon, leaked in a year. Went to the Flowkooler, really nice pump and impeller. I know that it moves more water because it blew my thermostat housing gasket 2 times in a row. So I went to the Flashpower o-ringed housing and no more problems.

    Irregular Rough Running

Check first that it may be a grounding problem. Make sure your engine is grounded to the body really well, (Firewall, frame rail etc.) & make sure the I.C.U. box is grounded well too. (Run a separate ground wire for that, it's a good Idea anyway) Car may lose ground when it's warmed up, slight...

8-3/4" axle length / housing questions

It’s hard to say what the last guy did. The A body never had a bbp oem axle. So it’s most likely that Yukon axles were ordered incorrectly if it is a A body housing or, it’s a housing that was cut and not exactly to oem specs. Case from Dr. Diff will get you straightened out and going again. He...

MIL text me and needed help getting her groceries out of her car and into her apartment. Had to drive 20 miles one way to carry 4 bags of groceries up 6 stairs. I don't mind but need to get her into a ground floor apartment so she doesn't have any stairs.

Moderator's police behavior, most threads the OP ask a question then bows out, the thread is only gonna stay on topic for so long, if the OP don't have any follow up questions and or redirect the thread to me it open season for the thread to go wherever, plus multiple discussions can be had at once.

Does anyone know what driveshaft I need for a 904 to 8.75 rear

A driveshaft shop can shorten it easily. They aren't near you but I use these guys. Super old school. https://carolinadriveline.com/ At least go to their site and use their forms to make proper measurements. Their forms are very good. BTW - I am doing the exact same thing to my 73 duster...

We should really discuss the responsibility of a OP to keep his thread on track vs. mods forcing it.. What would the acceptable percentage of "Slightly" off topic posts be in relationship to perfect on top posts be? 85? i mean.. if we go 100% we lose any jokes and pretty much the life of the...

It's up to the OP's to guide the direction of their own thread if they don't like the direction they can say so, pretty sure the original question has been answered a few times.

8-3/4" axle length / housing questions

my axles are big bolt pattern (BBP) with 10" diameter x 2-1/2" brake shoes, not the narrower 1-3/4" that I think is standard? So the big bolt pattern axles are longer than the small bolt pattern? Or is it the BBP and larger brake backing plate that is causing the length change? If so, I...
